The Sennheiser ME 36 is a high-quality mini shotgun microphone capsule that can be directly mounted on the Sennheiser MZH goosenecks. The capsule is available in three colours: black, Nextel (grey) and this neat white version. It has a wide frequency range and is very robust, compact and highly directional as well as insensitive to ambient noise. This is why the ME36 is suited for all kinds of situations, like conferences, broadcast installations, in the recording studio and many broadcast and A/V applications.

The Sennheiser ME 36 has a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and a very low self-noise of only 23 dB. Additionally, it has a hyper-cardioid pickup pattern, which allows you to aim it precisely and prevent background noise from being picked up. All of these properties ensure that only the vocals or the instrument that you are aiming the shotgun at, will be recorded beautifully.
