Imagine this: you want to capture the atmosphere in a room or the warmth of acoustic instruments. You might even want to record an entire set of drums via an overhead. All of this is made possible by this DAP Audio CM-1 condenser microphone, which is specifically designed to give a warm, but direct reproduction of the sound source.
The CM-1 is delivered with an omnidirectional and a cardioid capsule, so that you can adjust it to the situation. Overhead recordings are thus also made possible. These will carry a lot of quality thanks to the wide frequency range of 30 Hz to 22 kHz!

Zeer goede microfoons, zeker de prijs in ogenschouw genomen!
Eigenruis is zeer gering (en in mijn ervaring duider geringer dan van de Samson CO-2, want die heb ik ooit teruggestuurd omdat de ruis me te veel was!)
Dit zijn échte (extern gepolariseerde) condensatormicrofoons, géén elektret kapsels. (Als de CO-2)
De enige opmerking die ik kan maken is dat ze misschien in het hoog wat aan de 'frisse kant' zijn, maar ik heb eerlijk gezegd liever een microfoon die wat te veel hoog produceert dan een 'dof' klinkend exemplaar. Trouwens is aan dat teveel aan hoog door een kleine ingreep in de microfoon nog wel wat te doen, maar dat vereist wel wat kennis van zaken.
De bijgeleverde twee kapsels (nier en omni) zorgen voor een ruime inzetbaarheid.
Er is geen 'pad' (-10 dB o.i.d.) aanwezig, dus hoe de microfoon zich bij zeer hoge geluidsdrukken zal houden moet nog worden bezien. Een snelle meting toonde aan dat de bias van de FET in de microfoon goed is ingesteld en dus zal de maximaal te verwerken SPL waarschijnlijk vrij aanzienlijk zijn.
Vervorming van de versterker/impedantieomvormer volgens het 'Schoeps' principe is zeer laag, hier werd een waarde van 0,015% THD gemeten. Niet slecht!

Prima microfoon voor het geld, klinkt goed. Ook mooi dat je er twee capsules bij krijgt.
Wie met een klein budget zachte geluiden opneemt kan beter naar de Samson C02 kijken want die ruist 6 dB minder.
