This Samson C02 set consists of 2 Samson C02 small-diaphragm condenser microphones, 2 microphone stands and 2 microphone cables. Make beautiful stereo recordings of instruments and ensembles or use the set for performances. The Samson C02 microphone has a supercardioid directional characteristic. When close miking instruments, this results in excellent isolation. Using the set in a stereo setup results in a lively and wide stereo image.

Wrote the following about Samson MK10 Microphone Stand

Rating based on price/portability. I have sturdier stands, but this one I can chuck in a shoulder case and carry on the tube.
Light, sturdy for the weight and extremely practical.
I'll take my sturdier stands when I take the car, but this was a perfect portable stand for a gig. No problems at all on a very windy day.

Excellent value and good quality. I have a number of more expensive microphones which offer no obvious benefits. The CO2 is now my standard "goto" mic for instrument recording. The mic clips surround the mic safely but isolate well. Far better than the garbage that came with my AKG P170s - one mic wrecked when it popped out of the inadequate clip. No such problem with the CO2. A decent bit of kit at a sensible price.
