The Shure Beta 181O condenser microphone is a perfect means of recording the bigger picture! The omnidirectional pickup pattern is fit for recording the ambiance of a space, a large group of strings or an entire drum kit (overhead). They are especially well suited for concerts. Thanks to their compact size, they can be positioned very discretely and won’t block the view of your audience. The microphone can also handle a high SPL, so that musicians can really give their all in the presence of the Beta 181O. This microphone has a very durable housing and can therefore handle a few accidents.
