The Shure Beta 181S condenser microphone is an elegant means to accurately recording your instruments. Thanks to its compact size (less than 13 cm) and the fact that the diaphragm is located at the side, this microphone can be discretely positioned to record all kinds of instruments. As the Beta 181/S can handle a high SPL, this microphone can also be used for 'heavy' instruments, like a snare drum. The solid housing makes it fit for heavy-duty live circumstances.
