General

If you are looking for a very cool all-round, wooden snare drum with a warm sound and great dynamic response, then this PDP Concept 20-Ply Wood Hoop Maple snare drum might be what you are looking for. The snare has a diameter of 14 inches and a depth of 6.5 inches and the shell is made of no less than 20 layers of maple wood. The rim is also made of maple, making your rimshots sound very natural and full. The snare is full of musical overtones and really comes alive, especially in the mid- to high tuning. The shell also features DW Drums hardware, a carbon steel string mat for enormous precision and Remo drumheads.
