Yamaha AMS1460PCS Snare Drum (Pink Champagne Sparkle)

General

The Yamaha AMS1460PCS Pink Champagne Sparkle is a 14-inch snare drum with a unique shell. The 7-ply shell contains 6 layers of warm maple wood with a layer of hard, bright wenge wood nestled in the middle. The warmth of the maple combines the brightness of the wenge to produce an excellent overall sound with great dynamics. Furthermore, the 45-degree bearing edges offer excellent playing comfort.

Snares

The Q type strainer featured on this AMS14660 makes it exceptionally easy to switch the snare wires in and out. With a simple flick of the wrist you can easily change the sound of this drum. The snare wires consist of 25 strands for a full snare sound. Additionally, the shell is equipped with 20 lugs for optimal drum head tension. Speaking of drum heads, the ones on this snare drum are from the high-quality Remo Ambassador series. This warm-sounding snare drum goes perfectly with the Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple series drum set.
