Yamaha AMS1460WLN Snare Drum (Classic Walnut)

General

The Yamaha AMS1460 Classic Walnut snare drum is part of the Absolute Hybrid Maple series by Yamaha. The AMS1460 snare drum has a 14-inch diameter and a depth of 6 inches. It features a special 7-ply shell, consisting of 6 layers of maple with a wenge hardwood layer in the middle for a rich, bright sound. With a Classic Walnut finish, you get a classy look to seal the deal.

Snare Hoop

The die-cast hoops featured on this snare are 3 mm thick and made of aluminium. Yamaha has given this snare a sturdy new Q type strainer that makes it quick and easy to adjust the snare. Furthermore, the snare wires contain 25 spirals for a powerful snare sound. Full, dynamic expression is possible thanks to the special wooden shell, and the drum heads are from the top manufacturer, Remo. This snare drum fits in perfectly with a Yamaha Hybrid Maple drum set.
