General

The YSH-301S is a sousaphone from Yamaha. This model has a sound cup made of ABS resin and a body made of FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic). You get a big, tuba-like sound, but with a lighter weight than a normal sousaphone. In addition, this model is incredibly well-balanced, making it much easier to hold during a performance. Durability and weather resistance are also great advantages of plastic. This variant is finished with a transparent lacquer. If you are looking for a durable sousaphone with accurate intonation and good playability, this model is for you. It comes with a case and a mouthpiece included.
