Line 6 Powercab 112 Active Speaker Cabinet

You may not immediately think it but a speaker cab can have a dramatic impact on your overall sound. The Line 6 Powercab 112 active speaker is designed to offer as much variation of that sound as possible by combining the basic frame of a guitar cabinet and the shaping of an active full-range speaker. One button grants access to the voice of three Celestions, two Jensens or an Eminence speaker while the physically-mounted 12-inch speaker reproduces the characteristics unique to these radically different sounding speakers. You can immediately imagine all the good stuff that could happen if you hooked this cab up to a modeller, profiler or amp simulator pedal and, if colour is not what's needed, it can be flipped to Flat mode and used as a personal full-range monitor.

Just the Right Sound

Any external units or pedals can be easily connected to the Powercab 112 via the XLR/TRS jack combi round the back and clean output signal can be sent via an XLR. As with the slightly bigger, Line 6 Plus, the backside of this cab is decked out with a large volume control, LED-lit speaker selection button, low-cut and ground-lift switches as well as input and output sockets. Up front, the 112 has the classic and clean, humble face of a standard-looking cabinet which completely hides its far-more-than-standard potential.
