The Line 6 Powercab CL212 EU is an active guitar speaker cabinet, with two 12-inch speakers, designed for players who work with digital modeler units but want to retain the character of a real guitar cabinet. It combines an open-back enclosure with smart digital options, allowing you to work with one cabinet both at home and on stage or in the studio. The CL212 delivers 200 watts of power through two traditional 12-inch speakers, providing enough headroom and volume to play in larger rooms. The open back creates a spacious, natural sound, airy, without excessive emphasis on ultra-heavy bass. You can use the 3-band room EQ to further tailor the sound to the room you're in, which is useful when you're both rehearsing and performing.

Two modes, infinite possibilities

What makes things really interesting are the two working modes: in Speaker Voicing Mode, you can choose from six virtual speakers that interact with the real speakers in the cabinet, giving you different characteristic sounds: think bright, vintage, mid-forward, or more bassy profiles. Those who prefer to hear purely the signal from their modeler without any extra colouring can use the Power Amp In Mode, in which the speaker voicings are switched off and the cabinet functions as a clean power amp. In addition, there is an XLR output with IR capabilities, so you can load or use virtual cabs in the front-of-house or in your recording set, even when playing live. USB and MIDI connectivity allow you to make updates, load IRs and control parts of your rig externally.
