General

The casing of Laney's CXP-115 can take a beating. Fully stage-proof with a sturdy vinyl covering, metal corners for protection, rubber feet and a metal grill that protects the components behind it. This active monitor delivers 300 watts of power with its 15-inch woofer. There are a line input, microphone input and line link and you can connect external speakers, a passive monitor from Laney's CXM series can certainly serve this purpose. You will probably often use this monitor as a floor monitor, but thanks to the 35 mm tripod adapter, the speaker is also fine to be placed on a speaker stand.
