Elixir's Promo Packs are great news for fans of the guitar string manufacturer. The 16539 Promo Pack offers three sets of E11052 80/20 Bronze Nanoweb strings for acoustic guitar for the price of two. Elixir strings feel just as great as traditional strings, but they last much longer, so a 3-pack such as this will keep you playing for a long time!
Corroded strings are a bane on a guitarist's existence. Not only does corrosion affect your strings' sound, it also makes them less pleasant to play. Regular string maintenance and cleaning goes a long way, but isn't the ultimate solution, as the acidity level of sweat differs from one person to the next. A high acidity level is detrimental to your strings, so for some players, strings fall victim to corrosion sooner than for others. If you're one of the unfortunate ones, Elixir strings can be a real life-saver, as a thin coating protects the metal strings from air, dirt and sweat, keeping them clean and tight.
