General

The real strength of this Focal CMS-50 monitor lies in the fact that you can place it extremely close to you and still get tight, pure reference audio with focused high and low tones.

Its 5-inch woofer and 1-inch dome tweeter ensure a tight sound, and each is driven by a separate amplifier thanks to its bi-amp system. The incoming signal is filtered and processed by the correct amplifier, so that neither the woofer nor the tweeter is required to amplify frequencies that they wouldn't normally use.

The compact design and small footprint of this monitor make it ideal for smaller (home)studios where space is limited.
