General

HEDD makes nice studio monitors, very professional, and plenty of German solidity. But, as a rule, they are also somewhat pricey. Rightly so, the price fully represents the quality, and these are also pretty hefty monitors. But if that price is just beyond your means, then you don't have a HEDD monitor. And then suddenly there is the HEDD A-Core 05, for an amount of money that is suddenly quite nice. This is a monitor with a five-inch woofer (of course, with such a type number), but also with a ribbon tweeter. That tweeter provides enormously high frequencies that are not only very accurate but also pleasant to listen to. With normal tweeters, you might develop a kind of fatigue in your ears after a while. Ribbons, on the other hand, are great for long listening, and if you are doing a long mix, you are listening for a long time. Especially at this price, this studio monitor comes highly recommended.
