General
The HEDD Type 05 is a top-quality studio monitor designed and manufactured in Germany. Sound engineers, mixers and producers will all benefit from its highly detailed and accurate sound reproduction, especially at higher frequencies. That's down to its AMT (Air Motion Transformer), which not only reacts faster than a traditional tweeter for tighter highs, but is capable of producing high tones up to 50 kHz!
Properties of the HEDD Type 05
Apart from its good looks, the Type 05 is highly practical and, being an active monitor, you won't need a separate amplifier to use it. The maximum SPL is 103 dB or 111 dB per pair, which is more than sufficient for studio applications. Another of the Type 05's outstanding features is the ability to add different connectors to it. XLR and RCA connectors are fitted as standard, however, by purchasing one or more of the five separately available HEDD Bridge's, you can add connectors including Dante, USB and wireless! In short, the HEDD Type 05 offers perfect sound and ultimate flexibility for any high-end studio.

Wrote the following about HEDD Type 05 active studio monitor (per unit)
en ons verbazen over de dynamiek en sprankeling in de weergave van het hoog
maar ook het mooie duidelijke en warme correcte laag in deze "kleine" speakers van HEDD 05
(bedoeld voor in de woonkamer).
Prachtige "presence" van de luidsprekers, er wordt gewoon prachtig geluid geleverd.
Voor deze prijs is de kwaliteit helemaal in orde 399.
Je kan je afvragen of veel duurdere, grotere speakers in een woonkamer het kwalitatief gaan overtreffen
E.ea. kan en moet thuis wel afgeregeld worden, icm met evt subwoofer en crossover en satellietspeakers ivm 5.1 DTS weergave.

Pluspunten:
- mooi warm en eerlijk geluid
- zien er goed uit (jaja het oog wil ook wat)
- lekker sprankelend hoog
- zijn niet op te blazen door een interne beveiliging
Minpunt
- je kan ze minder hard zetten als de 7 inch versie (op te lossen met een crossover en een subwoofer)
Morgen komen de speakers binnen en dan eens goed testen in de studio
