General
The KRK Rokit RP8 G4 White Noise is an active studio monitor that's hard to miss. Its greyish-white body and bright, yellow woofer set it apart from most other monitors, but so does its modern feature set! First of all, this monitor comes with its own brick wall limiter, which is very practical but not as convincing as it's biggest selling point; a DSP driven room tuning module. This module, found on the back of the RP8, works much like an EQ and can be controlled using the downloadable KRK app on a smartphone or tablet. When it comes to the lower frequencies, the RP8 G4 is sure to stand its ground as well. Great during a mixdown, the redesigned bass port produces tight and focussed bass sounds while contact noise is kept a minimum thanks to ISO foam installed on the bottom.

Dus na lang uitkijken de Rokit RP8 G4 uiteindelijke (in wit) besteld.
Direct na aansluiten viel me op dat er een lichte ruis in zit, ook als je niets afspeelt!
Dus het eerste dat ik deed, was het volume flink verlagen, in de hoop dat de ruis zou afnemen.
Helaas bleef de ruis licht aanwezig. vervolgens alle (xlr) kabels losgetrokken, in de hoop dat het daar in zou zitten, maar helaas, de ruis blijft.
Ik heb het een weekje aangekeken en uiteindelijk besloten ze om te ruilen (en bijbetalen) voor de ADAM T8V. Deze ruisen gelukkig niet en zijn op specs zelfs wat beter. Laag dat ik niet hoorde bij de Rokit RP8 G4 wordt door de T8V wel weergegeven :-)
Wil je LUIDsprekers, dan kan de Rokit RP8 G4 interessant zijn, want ze kunnen behoorlijk hard.
Wil je echter een goede geluidsweergave, kies dan wat anders!

Je kunt ze afstellen voor je kamer, maar daar zijn we niet aan toegekomen, ze klinken gewoon al helemaal goed. Mijn zoon vond het eerst overdreven dat ik ze voor hem wilde kopen, maar is nu alleen maar helemaal blij - hij hoort nu tot in alle details wat hij produceert. Maar ze zijn inderdaad groot (diep)....

goed voor alle soorten muziek. ook leuk om er films mee te kijken.
onder schat niet hoe groot ze zijn want het zijn grote speakers.
had hier voor 5 inch monitoren maar deze zijn bijna 2 keer zo groot
perfecte prijs kwaliteit.
supper blij mee
