General

If you want the rich, deep frequencies of your audio to really cut through the mix, you'll want a set of studio monitors with an 8-inch woofer. The Yamaha HS8I BK active studio monitor in black (available per unit) is designed to accentuate music with a prominent mid-low, whether it's orchestral, dance, or soundscapes. This monitor is part of the HSI series, Yamaha's collection of improved versions of their popular HS series. Each HSI monitor is equipped with mounting points and offers separately-available brackets, making them ideal for studios and editing rooms where space is limited.

Features of the Yamaha HS8I

As mentioned before, the 8-inch woofer of this HS8I monitor is able to produce a rich bottom-end. Together with a 1-inch tweeter, it can reproduce a frequency response of 38 Hz to 30 kHz (-10 dB) and 47 Hz to 24 kHz (-3 dB)! The tweeter is especially impressive, as it can reproduce frequencies so high, they aren't even audible to the human ear! Connect your audio source, like a computer with DAW software for instance, by simply using an XLR or a balanced jack cable. If you want to tweak the sound to perfection, use the switches on the rear to adjust the tonal character depending on the acoustics of the room.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

Yamaha HS8I BK active studio monitor, black (per unit)
