Ik kocht deze monitor uit B stock daar hij een beetje beschadigd was. Wauw wat een sound. Ik gebruik hem als monitor op mijn zanginstallatie tijdens optredens. Ik had iets nodig met goede bastonen en tevens hoge tonen. Bij gebruikt van mijn Multipads had ik iets nodig wat deze bombastische sound goed kan monitoren. Dit doet deze studiomonitor zeker. Prachtige bastonen en ook goede hoge tonen. Ik was echt verbaasd over het geluid. Ik ben er heel blij mee en het is een goede aanvulling op mijn sound op het podium.

Amazing speakers! As a matter of fact a very clean sound. But the bottom end may be a little boosted which results in a bit of colouring in higher frequencies.

Bij de open dag van Bax in 2019 de hele nacht op de stoep doorgebracht voor de 1,- deals. twee van deze voor 1,- gehaald & die nacht overleven voor deze monitors was het helemaal waard! Meteen toen ik ze aanzette & aansloot op mijn mobiel (zonder audio interface) klonken ze al erg goed. Zeker veel bass voor een 5,25'' woofer & een tweeter die erg hoog gaat & ook nog eens zuiver is. En dan te bedenken dat ik ze nog niet eens ingespeeld heb. Misschien dat het geluid wat vertekenen op het reëel geluid, Maar daar zijn ze ook maar 150,- voor. Er komt in ieder geval voor het formaat zeker power uit.
Had eerst de KRK RP5's voor in m'n kamer, maar die hebben nog lang niet zoveel lage tonen als deze Monkey Banana's. Het design vind ik ook mooier, maar dat kan een persoonlijk iets zijn.
Erg blij met mijn nieuwe studio monitors :).
