The compact DM-40 active desktop monitor speaker set by Pioneer DJ will fit comfortably on your desk. The speakers feature technology from subsidiary brand TAD Labs and from Pioneer's own S-DJ X series. As such you get a front-loaded bass reflex system that delivers a kick you can actually feel. The soft dome tweeters are fitted with DECO convex diffusers for a wider sweet spot and 3D stereo sound. With RCA and AUX inputs, it's easy to connect an external sound source, and there's also a headphone socket if you need to listen in relative silence.
For a fantastic price, the DM-40 active desktop monitor speaker set offers studio-quality sound. That's not surprising when you learn that they are fitted with 4-inch glass fibre woofers to go with the 0.75-inch soft dome tweeters. The diffusers in the tweeters are responsible for channelling the high frequencies for that wider sweet spot and 3D stereo sound. Grooves in the air ducts reduce friction so that the bass will still be felt, even when the monitors are positioned against a wall. The tweeter and woofer are perfectly aligned to eliminate crossover and deliver a well-balanced sound.
Pioneer understands that DJs want a good sound at home too, as well as a smart design. The cabinets have curved fronts for a cleaner sound and look. On the front you will also find the volume control and the headphone socket. The RCA and AUX inputs provide connection options for all your devices, whether it's a laptop, turntable or DJ controller.
