General
Roland's FA series workstations are powerful, fast, diverse and have a practical layout. The FA-07, for instance, gives you everything you need to start playing quickly and easily. It has 76 velocity-sensitive keys that are the gateway to over 2000 top-quality sounds, many of which come from the INTEGRA-7. What's more, switching between them happens seamlessly. Other sounds come from the XV-5080 PCM and the SuperNATURAL synth. Acoustic instruments like strings, organs and pianos will all be at your disposal too.
FA-07 Music Workstation: instinctive and effective
Whether you're playing on the stage or in the studio, the FA-07 ensures an effective workflow. This synth won't just help you develop your musical ideas, it'll inspire you too. Writing and arranging songs becomes a much more instinctive process using this music workstation. The built-in 16-track sequencer allows you to put together your creations in a jiffy while you can use the six rotary knobs in the Sound Modify section to add effects, EQ and control the sound via ADSR. The large display gives you a clear overview of everything that is going on and the illuminated rotary knobs also play their part in the FA-07's user friendliness.
Pad bank, D-Beam and DAW control
There's a pad bank with 16 illuminated pads that make it easy to trigger samples even when you're on the darkest of stages. The popular D-Beam controller can also be found on this Roland synth. Integrating the FA-07 into your current DAW setup is simple using the USB port and dedicated DAW control knob, which allows you to make contact with your software so that you can use this music workstation as a comprehensive external DAW interface. That means you can also easily record guitar parts, vocals and anything else you like in combination with a laptop or a computer.
