In the voice banks, you'll find guitars, drums, pianos, brass and string instruments, and many other sounds. Its famous AWM2 chip guarantees accurate sound reproduction with a 128-voice polyphony and 16 parts, making the MX61 ideal for producing large and layered arrangements.

This MX61 is so much more than just a synthesizer. It's a synth, a USB audio interface, and a USB MIDI interface all rolled into one. The MX61 offers best of both worlds with seamless software and hardware integration. Although Yamaha hasn't come up with a brand new name for their latest line of synths, with names like the MK2, V2 and II, you can expect them to live up to the same high quality standards as other Yamaha synthesizers.
