The YRT-61M is a wooden tenor recorder from Yamaha. Made of high-quality maple, this instrument produces a soft, pure sound that can be placed well in an ensemble. Natural woods are often sought after for this type of instrument because the sound is difficult to imitate with synthetics. This model uses a baroque bore. This bore is slightly more difficult to play than a German bore, but often sounds purer and is therefore often used. The model has a double bore which makes certain notes a lot easier to play.
