General
A guitalele is a hybrid of a ukulele and a standard guitar. It is the same size as a ukulele, yet it has six strings like a regular guitar. And even though these strings are tuned a quarter above those of a full-size guitar, the way you play the chords is exactly the same. That means you don't have to learn how to play this delightful instrument all over again; this also works the other way around, what you've learned on the Korala you can easily apply to a regular guitar.
Construction of the Korala PUG-40E-OR
The light-blue Korala PUG-40 has a body of acoustically optimised polycarbonate, making it impervious to changes in temperature or humidity. Contrary to wooden instruments, this Korala isn't afraid of some cold or a bit of a drizzle. Thanks to its piezo pickup, the PUG-40E is an exceptionally versatile instrument. You can easily connect it to an amplifier or a guitar interface for digital recording.
