General
Yamaha's YSL-447GE is a good choice for intermediate-level trombonists. This tenor trombone has a large bore of 13.89 mm, making it harder to use than many starter models. However, you get something in return, namely a powerful projection suitable for large orchestras! If you plan to go in that direction with your playing style, this is an ideal step between a student trombone and the professional models. You can properly practise the shape of your embouchure while producing a beautiful sound. You get a matching mouthpiece and a case included! Yamaha's quality control has a good reputation and every trombone is inspected by experts.
