General

With this Pathfinder Baritone from the Rock Series, Flight brings you a solid-body electric ukulele! The tuning of this particular instrument is DGBE. So that's the same as the top four strings on a normal guitar. This makes the Flight Pathfinder Baritone extremely accessible for guitarists who want to try something different. It is also a nice option for ukulele players to broaden their spectrum. Nice bonus is that it comes with a sturdy gig bag with a 15-millimetre thick lining.

Pathfinder Baritone: Stylish ukulele

The Flight Pathfinder Baritone is constructed from a lime body with a beautiful top made of flamed maple. This is enhanced by the white ABS body binding that contributes to a nice colour contrast. The neck is made of roasted maple. This means that the maple has undergone a treatment in which it has been heated. This has removed the excess moisture, making the neck extra stable. Combined with the fixed bridge with string-through-body, this contributes to excellent resonance.

Wide range of sounds

Flight has fitted the Pathfinder Baritone with a passive humbucker in the bridge position. This type of element has no noise and lends itself perfectly to playing with overdrive or distortion. The neck element at the neck guarantees clean leads and warm leads. In combination with the 3-way element switch and the tone control, you thus get a wide range of possible sounds at your disposal. Another salient detail is the 38 millimetre wide nut. This is because it is made of bone, which contributes to good tone transfer and stable tuning.
