General

The Kala Scout Acoustic-Electric Fretless U-Bass delivers the warm, deep sound of a double bass in a compact and contemporary design. This instrument is made entirely of mahogany, a popular type of wood that provides a warm and full sound. The absence of frets allows for smooth gliding tones and subtle intonation, providing a particularly dynamic character and extensive possibilities in playing style. The Venetian cutaway also makes high notes easily accessible. Thanks to the built-in U-Bass Active EQ preamp with tone control and integrated tuner, you can also play amplified or record directly via an audio interface. This U-Bass comes with a sturdy, padded gig bag.
