The Ortega Mini/Travel Series RGLE18BLF electro-acoustic guitalele is basically a 1/8-size guitar with nylon strings. It's bigger than the average ukulele and comes fitted with six strings that are tuned two-and-a-half steps lower (A-D-G-C-E-A) than standard tuning, which is the same as sticking a capo at the fifth fret of a standard guitar. If you're already used to playing the guitar, you can play the same chords, scales and melodies with this guitar-ukulele mash-up. Just like the body, the soundboard has been carved out of flamed mahogany to guarantee great looks alongside powerful-and-warm sound.

Built-In Electronics

Thanks to its manageable shape, the Ortega Mini/Travel Series RGLE18BLF is perfect for young beginners as well as musicians who don't want to hit the road without something to play. What's more, this instrument has been equipped with an Ortega MagusUke preamp and pickup system, meaning it can be plugged into an amplifier or audio interface for recording sessions or live performances. A deluxe gig bag comes included as standard.
