The Ortega Signature Series BYWSM-U is Billy Watman’s concert ukulele, created in close collaboration with the artist himself. This Anglo-Brazilian guitarist, known for his blend of flamenco, classical and fingerstyle music, deliberately chose a solid spruce top combined with carefully selected Pale Moon ebony for the sides and back. You can hear the difference straight away: the ukulele has a clear, crisp attack with rich overtones and a beautifully balanced tone. Visually, too, this ukulele immediately catches the eye. The Pale Moon ebony provides a striking, natural grain, whilst the subtle hat inlay on the 12th fret adds a personal and stylish detail.
