Boss WL-50 wireless system for electronic instruments

BOSS' WL-50 is a wireless system for electronic instruments that can be easily integrated with your pedalboard and gives you complete freedom. The newly-developed technology ensures superior audio quality and ultra-low latency. This compact pedal-sized device has a dock that can be used to automatically set up the wireless connection and charge the transmitter. The WL-50 also has a DC output which can be used to power other effects pedals.

WL-50: easy to use

The WL-50 is slightly more compact than the average BOSS effects pedal even when the transmitter is sitting in the dock. It should be placed at the beginning of your signal chain and connected to your first effects pedal via the receiver out. It's also equipped with a standard mono jack connector so that you can use a guitar cable in the event of unexpected problems.

Cable Tone Simulation

BOSS has even added two cable tone simulations to the WL-50 that give you the same capacitive effect as you get when you connecting an instrument with passive pickups using a cable. The simulations give you a warmer sound by reducing the trebles. When using an instrument with active pickups or an electro-acoustic guitar with a built-in preamp, the simulations can be completely bypassed. This means the BOSS WL-50 delivers optimal sound quality no matter type of instrument you play.
