Shure has steadily been building quite a name for itself with their excellent vocal microphones and wireless systems. From obscure rehearsal spaces to large festivals, their equipment can be spotted anywhere. Shure's BLX series offers affordable yet professional wireless solutions for vocals, speech and music. Take the BLX24R wireless set, for instance, which consists of a BLX2 transmitter with a PG58 microphone head and a BLX4R receiver that can be mounted in a 19-inch rack or flight case. Syncing the set is easy, and the receiver's clear display tells you all you need to known.
Shure's BLX-2 is a reliable handheld microphone transmitter with a durable, lightweight build that only needs two AA batteries to perform for up to fourteen hours. Its dynamic microphone head is equipped with a PG58 microphone capsule that has a cardioid pickup pattern, ensuring your vocals and speech are captured in great detail without any feedback.
To go with your transmitter, you'll need a receiver - in this case, the Shure BLX4R. This model has a durable housing that can be mounted in a rack; the required rack mount materials are included. In addition to a clear LCD display that tells you all you need to know about the audio and transmitter status, the BLX-4R boasts two powerful detachable antennas, which are able to pick up the BLX-2's signal at an impressive maximum range of 100 yards. Finally, with a push of a button, Shure's QuickScan function automatically selects the best channels, so a clear connection is always guaranteed.
