AKG WMS 470-D5 (Band 7, 500-531 MHz) wireless system

AKG's WMS 470 is an affordable and professional system that is easy to use. It consists of the SR 470 half 19-inch rack receiver and a HT 470 wireless microphone with D5 capsule. This set is very well suited for situations that require the simultaneous use of several microphones, such as performances in clubs and on large stages or seminars and religious services.

SR 470 receiver
This receiver has a width of half a 19-inch rack along with a fully metal housing, and  is equipped with balanced as well as unbalanced outputs. It is equipped with a large LCD screen on which all the important information can be made out: RF level, audio signal, the frequency or group, the channel and the name of the unit. When irregularities such as volume peaks, a low battery voltage or signal fallout occur, the lighting of the display changes so that you are kept well-informed about the functioning of your wireless system at all times. The SR 470 is equipped with volume controls at the front so that you won't have to fiddle at the back of dark 19-inch racks. This high-quality wireless receiver by AKG is equipped with all kinds of handy functions which ensure that your system does its job reliably, even in situations where multiple wireless systems are used (at festivals, for instance). The SR 470 can be extended with external antennas in order to create a more extensive wireless system with an increased range.

HT 470 handheld microphone with D5 capsule
This stylish wireless microphone is equipped with a D5 capsule. It is a dynamic microphone with a super-cardioid pickup pattern. This means that the HT 470 does not pick up sound from the sides and back of the microphone and effortlessly picks up sound at the front of the microphone. This makes it insensitive to feedback and it won't pick up noise from around the stage. The HT 470 can easily be synchronised with the receiver via an infrared transmitter/receiver. It merely requires a press of the button to attune both devices to an available frequency. The WMS 470 wireless system uses a so-called pilot tone. No sound signal is passed on by the receiver until a stable pilot tone is established between the transmitter and receiver. In practice, this means that you won't be bothered by a loud popping noise when you turn the microphone. Very practical!
