General

This KW153 active 3-way speaker by QSC comes with its own protective cover to ensure it will last you for many years to come. Speakers in the KW series have cabinets that are lighter and smaller than those in the K series. This model has a 15mm birch plywood cabinet that houses a 15-inch woofer, a 6.5-inch speaker for the mids, and a 1.75-inch compression driver that are all protected behind a black powder-coated steel grille. The cabinet is finished with black textured paint to complete the look.

Wrote the following about QSC KW153 Active 3-way Speaker

Op 26 febr. 2015 ben ik naar Bax-Shop gegaan om een setje speakers te gaan halen. Mijn voorkeur ging uit naar de EV ETX-35P. Althans volgens de theoretische waarden zou ik voor die speakers gaan. Eenmaal beluisterd in de winkel viel deze set, en ook de ELX set ( 2 tops + 2 subs) direct af. Het was geen lekker geluid en wat de medewerker ook afspeelde het klonk gewoon niet lekker. Totdat hij mij vroeg wat ik van QSC vond. Dit merk was mij onbekend, en ik heb liever geen onbekend merk. Hij liet mij deze KW153 horen. En werkelijk ik kon mijn oren niet geloven. Zo zuiver, helder en krachtig in 1. En het kon nog gekker, de medewerker schakelde de Subwoofer stand in. (de speaker krijgt dan nog meer laag erbij) Werkelijk met open mond heb ik staan te luisteren. Ik was in in 1 klap verkocht. Ik heb dit product 26/02/2015 gekocht bij Bax-Shop te Goes.

27/02 en 28/02 heb ik deze 2 speakers vol belast tijdens optredens. Het geluid bleef super echt waar ik stond er zelf versteld van. Een conculaga in de zaal kwam naar me toe in de pauze en zelfs hij vroeg me wat dit voor speakers waren en het geluid fantastisch was.

producten gelijk op voorraad en kon gelijk meenemen

niet alleen op een statief te plaatsen (erg zwaar qua gewicht)
clipte redelijk snel, tijdens draaien van House-EDM (mogelijk omdat ik de subwoofer stand had ingeschakeld)
