Next to a console-based microphone preamp capable of first-rate conversion and fitted with double headphone outputs, the iD4 USB-C audio interfaces feature a genuine JFET instrument input to give your recording some of that warm, beautifully saturated tube-style sound. Loaded with the same ASP8024-HE chip found in Audient's full-size consoles, it's little surprise that the iD4 sounds thankfully familiar, and with completely separated signal paths, the level of distortion is kept to a perfect minimum at all times.

The volume control of the iD4 MKII can be turned into a practical tool that essentially takes over the role of the scroll-wheel of your mouse for super-smooth, on-screen parameter tweaking. Quick fader adjustments, lane automation changes, everything's done in a heartbeat and with ease with ScrollControl. Of course, the iD4 MKII can be USB-powered via a USB-C connection and can even be hooked up to your iOS device for on-the-fly recording. ARC software and Cubase LE/Cubase LE iOS included.
