General

The Devine RX-8A is a bigger, beefier studio monitor designed for the heavier audio-based work demanded by EDM or orchestral productions. While a monitor of this size would usually set you back a fair bit, the RX-8A comes at a generous, beginner-friendly price, setting up fledgling producers with a considerable, 45Hz to 20kHz frequency range, consistent performance and that all important neutral sound.

The Devine RX-8A

The Devine RX-8A comes fitted with the flexibility of TRS/TS jack, RCA, and XLR ports, and while the mounted 8-inch woofer offers enough depth for larger home-studio spaces, if you're sitting in an even bigger space and need even more depth, then it can be coupled up with the matching RX-10SA subwoofer. If you're thinking about picking up a larger monitor like the 8A, then make sure that you have the space for it. The soundwaves of lower frequencies literally need larger spaces to travel in, so the bigger the woofer, the bigger the space needs to be. It's also definitely worth investing in a good set of monitor stands and a little isolation. Looks and performance all very good , at that price o was truly shocked at how good they sound .

Only thing that I didn’t like was the attention to detail in the front bass hole . On the internal radius of the hoke the finish was a bit sloppy . The rest of the speaker was finish very well .

Deze speakerset nu een half jaar in gebruik samen met de RX-10SA subwoofer.

Wat een grandioos geluid geeft dit!
Voorheen had ik een Logitech Z-Cinema (eerste versie) en die was op zich heel sterk, alleen met de nodige ingebouwde electronica die filtert etc, en dit is precies wat je dus NIET wil in bijvoorbeeld FruityLoopsStudio (FLS)

dus om een rauw ongefilterde output te krijgen, en tevens het bereik onderin te vergroten gekozen voor de RX-8A met de RX-10SA

gewoon wauw.. meer kan ik er eigenlijk niet van maken.
de RA-8A monitor speakers gaan al net zo diep als de subwoofer van de logitech set, en dan is de subwoofer pas net begonnen.

een waanzinnig geluid, zowel onderin als bovenin, zowel zacht als hard gewoon een helder geluid zonder ruis of knetter

Voor deze prijs vind ik dat deze zich echt mag meten met de semi-prof apparatuur wbt een amateur producer en ik zal deze ook niet meer hoeven te vervangen, ze doen in combinatie alles wat ik ervan had verwacht in het gehele bereik.

Ze zijn overigens best wel groot, dus dat moet je echt wel even ter kennisgeving aannemen, ook met een gewicht van 12.6kg zijn ze best fors maar als dit geen belemmeringen voor je zijn dan kan ik deze absoluut aanraden.

Prachtige speaker voor op de slaapkamer van de zoon maar ook uitermate geschikt om in een studio of bij een pc te plaatsen. We hebben de speaker eerst in Goes beluisterd in de test cabine je kan dan het verschil horen tussen meerderen studiomonitoren.
