A Reliable Feel, Deluxe Vibes & Smooth Playability

The snug body contouring will already make this guitar feel like an immediate extension of your very being, but when you add on the slim, custom-tinted-satin, C-profiled neck and the 10 inch to 14 inch compound radius, it's like you're hugging an old friend. The less-usual compound radius supports a solid chord-grip closer to the headstock, while light and nimble lead work feels more and more effortless the closer you get to the body. Wrote the following about Yamaha PACP12M Pacifica Professional Black Metallic Electric Guitar with Hardshell Case

Ik heb deze gitaar recentelijk gekocht en weet eigenlijk niet of ik er blij mee ben. De ene keer speelt de gitaar fantastisch en de andere keer niet en lijkt dan zeker bij gebruik van de tremolo veel te ontstemmen. Ik vermoed dat dat komt door invloed van het klimaat in de ruimte waar ik speel op de gitaar. De Fender telecaster Ultra die ik heb heeft daar in ieder geval veel minder last van.
Ik moet erg wennen aan deze gitaar. Wat me bij het eerste gebruik van de gitaar tegenviel is dat er meteen drie hoge snaren losschoten. Ik heb er Elixer snaren opgezet wat de bespeelbaarheid verbeterde en heb de snaren iets lager afgesteld. De snaren die erop zitten zijn 'light'. Ik ben zwaardere snaren gewend. Ik zou de gitaar kunnen laten instellen op zwaardere snaren maar weet niet of dat de bespeelbaarheid verbeterd.
Ik ben er al met al niet uit of ik deze gitaar wil houden. Ik heb gelukkig een zekerheidspakket afgesloten bij de aankoop dus kan nog even uitproberen.
