Wrapping modern playability and big sound up in sharp swag, the Fazley Sunset Series Sand Shark electric guitar offers guitarists an attainable metal-ready six-string that's built to shred. The shape of the solid poplar wood body has been directly inspired by Ibanez AZ models, so you're immediately assured of comfortably ergonomic contouring and outstanding balance, and since it comes loaded with two passive humbuckers, this guitar wields powerful amplified sound which can be varied at will via the fitted mini-switch wired to the bridge humbucker. Simply flip it to split the double-coil pickup down the middle and unleash more sparkling single-coil-style sound. With this set up, the Fazley Sand Shark can literally be taken in any direction, so as well as metal and straight-up rock, it can easily back up everything from alternative and indie styles to funk and even pop. As a nice bonus, the Sand Shark comes complete with a gig bag.

The Fazley Sunset Series Sand Shark: An Ultra-Fast Neck

Besides timeless style and flexible sound, the Sand Shark bears smooth and comfy playability. The neck has been carved from a piece of roasted Canadian maple that's undergone a special heating process to remove as much moisture as possible, increasing the density of the wood and increasing the stability. This combines with a flat and modern 12 inch fretboard radius and twenty-four jumbo frets, reducing the pressure needed to hold down notes and chords and supporting faster playing techniques. And, to pack rhythms and solos with extra expression, Fazley have mounted a two-point tremolo bridge complete with a whammy bar. Polished off by a high-grade Graph Tech TUSQ nut to enhance resonance and tuning stability, this model is way more than just any beginner's guitar.

This is a really nice guitar. It looks and plays beautifully. Where else are you able to buy something at this price when you're getting a Canadian roasted maple neck, Graph Tech TUSQ nut, double humbuckers, tremolo and a split coil switch? It even comes with a gig bag! There has been some discussion on YouTube about seized truss rods on this model but by using a short ended allen key (as suggested by Steve Cassidy) I adjusted mine easily and I was able to set it up very quickly. Very happy!
