General

The Rode Wireless Pro wireless clip-on microphone system has been fully calibrated to ensure professional results no matter where you're recording or the gear you're recording with. While this system is incredibly simple to set up and use, that doesn't mean that Rode haven't loaded it with some advanced features. Access the Rode Central app and you're granted deep-diving control over every function.

Unique Features

The Rode Wireless Pro is a two-channel system but, because the included receiver as well as the two transmitters all feature a built-in microphone, you're actually getting three. The three units can also be configured in a number of different ways, so you could record one of the two transmitters on the left channel while recording the receiver on the right channel, or you could record both transmitters on the left channel and the receiver on the right, and record three people at the same time. If you want absolute certainty that your audio is secure, then you can simply use the recorders that come integrated into both transmitters. These recorders are able to capture speech in high, 32-bit floating point resolution, ensuring a near limitless dynamic response and resulting in noise-free recordings. And, since the recorders are inside the transmitters, the recording never cuts out, even if the wireless connection is lost.

Flexible Compatibility

Keeping things as flexible as possible, this progressive system will work with virtually any device thanks to the analogue and digital ports that come fitted. The included SC2 mini-jack cable can be used to link the receiver to equipment like a camera or recorder, but if you want to shoot with your smartphone, that's no problem either, since the Wireless Pro receiver also features a USB-C port. With the included adapter cables, you can even hook this system up to newer as well as older iPhone and Android models, and to support editing as well as filming, it can even be connected directly to your computer via USB.

Accessories

The Rode Wireless Pro system comes with a stack of handy accessories so, instead of the built-in microphones you could also use the two Rode Lavalier II clip-on microphones that have been included. These microphones are a touch smaller than the transmitter units, so they can be easily hidden in the folds of clothing for a more discrete look. To finish, the transmitters and the receivers can all be stored and recharged in the included Charging Case while all of the accessories can be neatly stashed away in the Accessories Case.
