Product information

General

The Yamaha YCM705 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone at a reasonable price. But the Yamaha logo does reflect that we are dealing with quality! A fine microphone for both subtle and brutal sound sources, the pad switch knows how to handle them. Like many studio microphones, the YCM705 has a cardioid directional characteristic, so the mic picks up the sound you want to record in a very focused way, leaving out everything else beside and behind it. Low-end rumble shouldn't be a problem either, thanks to the low-cut filter. But best of all, for this money, it's a very nice and complete product. It comes with a shockmount as well as a pop filter. Ergo: whether you are recording an instrument or your voice (think podcast, for example), the signal the microphone produces is very clean and usable!
