Look, you could of course invest in a complete DJ console. You know, a big unit with two media players and a mixer, which is obviously a perfectly straightforward solution. But if you'd rather hand-pick your components, then you might want to consider this Allen & Heath Xone:24 DJ mixer. What you use as your sound source or media player is then, of course, entirely up to you. This Xone:24 is a touch more compact than other Xone mixers, but the renowned foundations are all there: the Xone filter for your sweeping build-ups, and the smooth, sturdy crossfader.

Seriously good

The analogue components are truly top-class, including superb low-noise pre-amps for your vinyl. This analogue character gives your sound a clear and beautiful punch. As for control, alongside the immediate hands-on operation, the backlit buttons on this Xone:24 are a massive help on a dark stage. There's also an effects loop so you can patch in an external effects unit to your mix. In short, this mixer can form the heart of your own custom DJ booth – it's a seriously good piece of kit!

Hoe dan, eerste indruk is fenomenaal. Soepele faders, fijne goede knoppen, logisch ingedeeld, voelt direct heel natuurlijk aan. Goed geluid en ook op de koptelefoon een gedetailleerd geluid. Fx is top en mogelijkheden genoeg qua verdere aansluitingen.
Ik gebruik hem met draaitafels dus analoog, werkt is prima. Ook vanuit hier een prima doorgave van geluid.

En voor deze prijs.

Heb er de laatste tijd al meerdere geprobeerd in deze prijsklasse, en allemaal retour. Zelfs pioneer kan hier wmb niet aan tippen.
