What is a B-Stock Item? Any item we can no longer sell as new is labelled B-stock. To keep contact sounds and other unwanted vibrations and noise at bay so you can isolate pure, neutral audio, Rode have developed the PG2-R pistol grip shock mount. It's suitable for a shotgun microphone and can be handheld or mounted on a boom pole. The PG2-R is the successor to the PG2, only now it's equipped with the renowned Rycote Lyre shock mount system. This suspension system is more robust than the previous system with elastic bands that could dry out and even break. This improved construction enables you to manage your cables better as well, as it has special points to thread them through for optimal use.
