The Chapman Guitars DPT Peter Honoré Signature combines looks, playing comfort and character in one guitar. The body is made of alder and the neck of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. This combination provides warmth, clarity and excellent response when playing. With the Retrograde finish, the guitar looks like it has been used on the biggest stages for years. The combination of a soft matte and glossy Calfuray Purple finish allows the wood grain to shine through, just like a vintage nitro finish. With the glow-in-the-dark side inlays, you never have to look for them in dark playing situations again. Peter Honoré himself calls this the closest alternative to his original guitar. During his career, he regularly played with big names such as Tom Jones, Lionel Richie, Girls Aloud and Westlife, which makes the inspiration and design of this signature guitar extra special!

Unique single coil sound with modern gadgets

Make no mistake: despite its minimalist look, the Chapman DPT offers premium features under the bonnet. For instance, the guitar comes with two custom DPT Wilkinson R Series single coils, specially tuned for this model. The bridge pickup (8K, Alnico V) gives you a sharp, pronounced tone for funk, pop or blues. And the neck pickup (7K, Alnico V, open coil) provides a warm, rounded clean sound perfect for session work. With the Sprague Orange Drop condenser and treble bleed circuit, your sound remains clear and defined, even at lower volumes. Plus, bends are smooth to play on the C-profile neck and intonation remains reliable thanks to Wilkinson tuners.
