Bringing one of their most legendary distortion pedals back from the dead, the Marshall Guv'nor Reissue houses the sought-after sound of the 1989 Guv'nor MK1, which packed high gain JCM800 distortion up in one hefty black stompbox. This reissue features exactly the same shape, exactly the same artwork and exactly the same pots and control layout as the original model and has been carefully hand-wired in the Marshall factory in the UK. Set the distortion level via the Gain pot to swing the output from soft and bluesy to solid and metal-worthy, and just like the OG, the Marshall Guv'nor Reissue features three-band EQ controls so you can take the effect in any direction, while the Volume pot can be used to balance the signal with your dry sound or raised to apply a meaty, distorted boost. Loved by the big names, including Mr. Gary Moore, this legend among pedals is back to rule the guitar universe.

De guv'nor is al een poosje terug op de markt en hoewel er intussen veel meer pedalen zijn uitgebracht als "amp in a box" is het nog steeds een uitstekende keuze om een klassieke Marshall klank mee te hebben op jouw versterker. Er is weliswaar geen afzonderlijke knop voor presence zoals op bijvoorbeeld de pedaalversie van Soldano's SLO en je zal er ook geen metal distortion uit halen zoals een metal zone maar als je op zoek bent naar een ouderwetse JMP of JCM versterker klanken en je hebt er geen zin in om meer dan 300 te betalen zoals veel boetiek pedalen kosten die ongeveer hetzelfde proberen dan kan je hier onmogelijk een verkeerde aankoop mee maken.
