The JBL BandBox Solo is an extremely compact practice amp and speaker that uses AI to separate guitar, vocals and drums. Want to play a solo yourself and mute the original a bit or isolate a difficult piece for practice: it's all possible. This bin delivers 18 watts of clear sound. Classic effects like phaser, chorus and tremolo are built-in, and via the app you can adjust various settings to your liking. With practice tools like a tuner and metronome, you can learn to play even more smoothly. With a battery life of up to 6 hours, you can keep practising for a long time and when you use headphones, you won't disturb your housemates either. The USB-C output lets you record directly to your laptop.

Have you ever heard Marvin Gaye vocal only "what's going on"? If ever there was a case for stem AI it's made in one track.
The same could be said for so many classic tracks and riffs through the bandbox solo.

So what has that to do with a practice amp?
Everything!
If you want to hear music and learn how to make it then the solo is a great tool.
I've used it for vocals,guitar,keyboards and electric sax.
Originally I was going to buy the trio but so glad I bought the solo.The fact that I can put a practice amp in my pocket is wild. One with FX ,amp modelling,Stem AI, app support and 18w output is simply unbelievable.
They say bigger is better but my pockets know better.
My favourite and most surprising purchase in years!

Getest bij Bax in Goes. Zeer handzaam oefen versterker voor zang of gitaar. Handig om gitaar of stem of beiden realtime weg te filteren. Ik gebruik Spotify’ hiervoor. JBL app heeft veel keuze instellingen per versterker. Zeer gebruiksvriendelijk. De eerste order was ook snel uitverkocht!

Ik heb er ondertussen een week op mogen spelen, maar ik ben zeer onder de indruk. Het geluid is echt mooi en vol voor zo'n klein speakertje. Echt indrukwekkend! En nu snapt iedereen dat je dit niet moet gebruiken voor een optreden in een volle kroeg, maar voor thuis gebruik is het echt heel erg gaaf!
Je hoeft niet perse gebruik te maken van de JBL-app, want er zijn evengoed een aantal pre-sets te gebruiken, maar als je wel gebruikt maakt van de app (smartphone of tablet) dat kan je wisselen tussen versterkers, pedalen en lekker effecten tweaken. Ontzettend leuk!
Ook de Stem-AI functie is tof! Zet via Spotify een liedje op, draai de gitaar helemaal weg en speel gewoon zelf lekker mee.
En mocht je je nog steeds vervelen: Er zitten een looper op, tegelijkertijd te gebruiken met een aantal drums en na het opnemen van de eerste loop kan je er nog eentje toevoegen en daarboven freestyle jammen.

Ennnnn deze versterk is zo klein, je kan het overal mee naar toe nemen. Tip: Doe er een paar draadloze jacks van Fazley bij. Geen snoer meer!

Al met al vind ik de JBL Bandbox een echte aanvulling in de wereld van gitaarversterkers en een dikke aanrader!
