Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
I bought this as a Christmas present for a young member of the family who is learning to play the guitar. He already has a couple of instruments so I thought this would be a good way for him to understand more of how they actually work and how to set them up.
All the parts were well made and the neck fits the neck pock very well. There were no rough marks on the body, no high or sprouting frets and all of the parts were there.
Everything went together well and with a little adjustment to get the intonation right and it played very well.
He has now removed everything and is in the process of priming and painting the body.
In short he has ended up,with a very playable instrument and a good platform for him to experiment with upgrades in due corse. Honestly worth the money.

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
Having resurrected a 'car boot' stratocaster recently, I thought it was time to move on to building a guitar kit. This one from Fazely is reasonably good for the price. Here's a few things you might want to consider if you buy one.
If you wish to add colour to your body work, the wood grain is quite deep in places so you might have to use a levelling compound for a smooth finish.
Masking the black trim is a faff but it can be done. Might be better if Fazely offered a kit with no trim for painting. (Apologies if they already do - haven't seen one)
When assembled it will need a complete setup to get the best sound out of it, so you will need some basic guitar tech tools.
Other than that it was satisfying to build and I intend to get better at playing, using my new Tele...

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
I have had two of these guitar kits and I have to say, that for the money, they are unbelievable (you can pay as much as this for a Chinese neck on ebay). Like any kit guitar they will likely need a good set up once they are assemled which involves: adjusting the truss rod for neck relief, levelling a few high frets, cutting the nut slots to the correct depth and setting the action and intonation but this is something you would probably need to do on a ready made entry level guitar costing 5 times the price. If I have any criticism then it's the pickups (hence the 4 stars). They are a little weedy sounding and lacking in bass and mids, although still tele sounding but at the price you can't expect everything to be perfect. Personally I wish they would also do one with a heavier body wood and no binding. Overall a really great buy and a good platform for experimentation and modding.

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
Ordered this as my first kit guitar. Got to say, for the price I wasn't expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived quickly and well packaged. Have "dry fitted" the parts together and everything is a good fit and in alignment.Fretboard needs a bit of touching up (but you often get that on new ready made guitars as well). Haven't stained or wired it yet (yes, there aren't any instructions but the information is readily available and, at the end of the day, its a 3 way switch with 2 inputs and one output) but very pleased with the kit. Great value for money.

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
This would be a world beater if they only provided a detail wiring diagram. All other wireing diagrams avaiable are totally diferent. Surely the bridge needs two wires??? I know it is stated that no manual or diagrams are included then please check your wireing before delivery. Many thanks

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
Very happy with my product. It came in excellent condition. The components are well made for the price. I will have fun putting the guitar together not expecting it to be perfect but that's the fun of it.

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit

Fazley FTL-DIY Blank Electric Guitar Kit
