A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.
The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.
The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::
Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box
New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

With the DS-2 Turbo Distortion, Boss haven't just dropped a reissue of the legend that is the DS-1 stompbox, but have expanded its range to two different distortion flavours toggled via a Mode switch. Flip into Turbo I and you're treated to the classic round and balanced character of the DS-1 distortion we all know and love. Flip up into Turbo II and light a fire under your tone to give the mid-range a fierce boost for solo and rhythm parts that need even more power.
While you could manually switch between Turbo modes, you can just as easily flip between them in real-time using an external footswitch like the Boss FS-5L. Before you even start messing with modes, the Dist pot can be used to set the distortion intensity, while the Level pot can be used to match the effect volume with your dry, bypassed signal and the Tone pot can be used to deepen or brighten the output.
