Ik was op zoek naar een subwoofer voor een feestje in een zaal van het Van Der Valk Hotel Hoorn. Er werden zo'n 150 man en vrouw verwacht en wilde wat extra bass op de dansvloer. De 'standaard' subs zij voor mij veel te groot en te zwaar (ik moet in Amsterdam 4 trappen op. De verkoper in Amsterdam attendeerde mij op de RX-10SA. Prima te tillen. maar hoe zou hij het houden op de dansvloer? Hij staat namelijk gepositioneerd als 'studiomonitor'.

Een tip voor de productmanagers van BAX; posioneer 'm ook als subwoofer voor kleinere zaaltjes. Doet het perfect! Zeer tevreden.

Een oude laptop transformator bleek na wat zoeken de boosdoener van een behoorlijk aanwezig bijgeluid nadat ik de subwoofer voor de eerste keer in gebruik nam, de andere aanwezige transformatoren gaven geen probleem op het signaal.
Dit vermeld ik zodat andere gebruikers er zich van bewust zijn dat de netfiltering van deze subwoofer misschien wat te wensen overlaat.

Ik heb de monitoren aangesloten op de uitgangen van de subwoofer zodat het ingebouwde crossover filter gebruikt kan worden om de monitoren te ontzien van de frequenties beneden ca 80 Hz.

De bijgeleverde gebruiksaanwijzing is anders geschreven dan bij de meeste producten het geval is, meer op een verhalende manier, als je deze van voor naar achter goed leest vind je er alle relevante informatie in terug.
