What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

  • Photo of the brand new product
  • Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
  • Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box

State of product:

New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

Can I return a B-stock product?

Yes! Our 30-Day Trial Period also applies to B-stock products.

Do B-stock products come with a warranty?

Yes! Our usual Bax Music warranty also applies to most B-stock products.

General

Boss' original chorus pedal, the legendary CE-1 turned the guitar world on its head. It was followed up by the CE-2 with its familiar baby-blue finish. Now, the technological wizards responsible for Boss' Waza Craft series have delivered the mother of all chorus pedals, the CE-2W. Made in Japan, this model sounds just like the original, with a few extra additions, of course.

Boss CE-2W: Dreamy, luxurious and lush at the same time

The original sound of the CE-1 can be found on the CE-2W at the flick of a switch. You even have the possibility to adjust the depth of the chorus effect on the CE-2W and that's something you couldn't do on the original. The sound is dreamy, lush and luxurious. Add stereo to the mix for even more dimension. The pedal can be powered using a 9V battery or via an optional adapter.

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Great pedal as you would expect from Boss. Nice range of chorus effects and no significant noise. Options for stereo output and battery power are appreciated. Built like a tank and will survive the heaviest gigging. I've taken one star off because of the high price, despite Bax giving a very generous discount.
If you want the best chorus pedal this is it!

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Having used several different chorus pedals and models, and read professional reviews that this is the best chorus pedal every made on Earth, I thought that maybe its high expense was worth a try, noting that it can be returned easily. You don't need to worry, this pedal is not going back! It is quite simply the best chorus pedal I have used. Its subtle and rich tones, with only two controls (except the 3-way selector switch), makes it sound as professional as I could imagine, with a huge variety of variations across the three types. I was able to get sounds very similar to the intro to "Hotel California" and Pink Floyd's "Breathe" with relative ease and they sound really good. Even though it is quite expensive compared to other chorus pedals, it is worth the money if you want such richness of tone and subtle variability.

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Het beste choruspedaal op de markt. Full stop!

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Boss CE-2W Waza Craft Chorus Pedal

Zeer prettige chorus.
