Deze sub aangeschaft voor een vaste opstelling in een ruimte van 6x15 meter met een plafondhoogte van ongeveer 3 meter. Als toppen gebruik ik de EV EKX-12 luidsprekers.

Verder grijpt de limiter erg snel in wat de beloofde 135dB een wassen neus maakt. Niet dat de sub niet hard speelt maar 135dB haalt hij verre weg niet. Meting zal nog uit moeten wijzen wat de daadwerkelijke prestaties zijn.

Momenteel met de EV's in een 2.1 opstelling wat voldoende is voor de doorsnee muziek. Voor de wat meer stevige EDM/HipHop etc bass zware muziek zijn er toch meer nodig om de toppen goed bij te kunnen houden.

Pas goed op met de grill, deze is van dusdanig dun materiaal dat hij ontzettend snel deukt, met een beetje handigheid is dit weer te verhelpen maar wel een minpunt wanneer er veel mee getourd word.

Al met al een leuke complete sub met een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Specs zijn wat te optimistisch maar dat geld voor bijna elke fabrikant. Is er beter? Ja uiteraard maar met een bijbehorende prijs wat vaak toch richting het dubbele gaat.
Wil ik in mijn geval over alle genres gezien het maximale uit het systeem willen halen in de juiste verhoudingen dan zullen er 2 per kant nodig zijn dus zal er in de toekomst een uitbreiding volgen.
