A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.
The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.
The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::
Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box
New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage
Yes! Our 30-Day Trial Period also applies to B-stock products.
Yes! Our usual Bax Music warranty also applies to most B-stock products.

In close collaboration with guitar legend Eddie Van Halen himself, MXR's engineers have developed a stomp box that delivers a wide range of powerful, saturated tones. The EVH 5150 Overdrive combines multi-trap MOSFET transistors with comprehensive tone control, creating the versatile sound and feel of an overdriven tube amplifier. No matter which amp or speaker cabinet you're working with, this Overdrive stomp box treats you to a sound you'll definitely enjoy. The MXR EVH 5150 is a true-bypass pedal and boasts an ultra-durable housing with the iconic EVH-style stripes.
Whether you feel more at home on stage or in the studio, the controls of the MXR EVH 5150 Overdrive enable you to produce a diverse range of sounds. From Van Halen's original ground-breaking classic rock to modern, super-articulated high-gain tones, this rugged stomp box makes it all happen for you. The output and gain knobs control the volume and distortion level, while the 3-band equalizer allows you to customise your sound. Hungry for more? Hit the boost switch to add a little extra gain and compression. Thanks to the clever inclusion of a Smart Gate circuit, annoying noise is reduced to a minimum.
